A couple ways to make your daily routine more active.
- Take the stairs. Use the stairs instead of elevators and escalators whenever possible.
- Turn off the TV. Don’t eat in front of a screen. Less screen time equals less “sit time.” Instead of watching tv or texting/instagramming/tweeting/facebooking, visit the gym, or even just straighten up around the house.
- Walk an extra stop. During your bus or subway commute, get off a stop or two earlier and walk the rest of the way.
