peach mango oatmeal with crunchy granola

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/4 cup non-fat plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 peach, chopped
  • handful of frozen mango pieces, chopped
  • 2 1/2 tbsp granola (any kind, I used Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Granola Cereal)

Directions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water in a medium pot. Stir in the oats when the water starts to boil, and cook for 7-8 minutes.
  2. Chop the peaches and mango into bite-size pieces (substituting other fruit, like fresh or frozen berries, works as well).
  3. Pour cooked oatmeal in a bowl, and top with fruit, yogurt, and granola for some added crunch!
