peach mango oatmeal with crunchy granola
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup steel cut oats
- 1/4 cup non-fat plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 peach, chopped
- handful of frozen mango pieces, chopped
- 2 1/2 tbsp granola (any kind, I used Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Granola Cereal)
Directions
- Heat 1 cup of water in a medium pot. Stir in the oats when the water starts to boil, and cook for 7-8 minutes.
- Chop the peaches and mango into bite-size pieces (substituting other fruit, like fresh or frozen berries, works as well).
- Pour cooked oatmeal in a bowl, and top with fruit, yogurt, and granola for some added crunch!
