Green Eggs and Chard

Scored some good-looking Swiss chard at the Food Collective* so I made this recipe for dinner last night. Simple, but good. Protein and power greens make a winning combination.

Ingredients

  • 1 bundle of swiss chard
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Wash the chard thoroughly and chop the leaves crosswise into strips.
  2. Sauté the leaves in garlic and lemon until wilted and tender.
  3. Fry up a couple of eggs.
