Exercise reduces cravings for junk food!

I love seeing studies like this that prove what I tell my clients or what I experience myself.  In this study the researches studied brain scans to look at appetite hormones:

“After running the volunteer’s feelings of hunger were suppressed, and the appetite hormone analysis showed us that levels of the appetite stimulating hormone were reduced whilst levels of the appetite suppressing hormone were increased.”

So what does this mean for you?  Really make an effort this week to get sweaty and exercise!  I also believe that beyond hormones after a good workout I don’t want to ‘ruin it’ with a poor food choice.  If you are just trying to squeeze something in take a brisk walk at lunch, or play your favorite song on your computer and dance!

If you want to know if you are doing the right things with your health, schedule a complimentary strategy session with me!  It’s a 15 minute phone call!
