Sorry this post is tardy!
Yesterday was a little different for me. I was on site at a client choosing from the food in the dining room. I was lucky that the soup of the day was a chicken and white bean chili, no noodles! It was actually in a broth base instead of creamy, so no dairy either. I selected that and the salad bar.
Last night Nutrition for Your Lifestyle hosted a Healthy Happy Hour / Networking event. We sampled several “detox friendly” food items; some of them were more of snack foods that are better to use after the 21 days, but still meet all of the guidelines. We had plantains, almonds, carrots, organic salsa, black bean/flax/quinoa chips, a couple of gluten free crackers and some dried green beans.
Everyone was glad to try some other alternatives that still tasted good!
