Marinate today – cook tomorrow

Whip up this marinade and use for chicken or pork or even tofu!  The trick is to plan ONE DAY AHEAD so that you get all of the great flavors of the marinade.

Lemon & Mustard Marinated Grilled Chicken


  • 6 lemon yields Lemon juice, raw
  • 8 tbsp Mustard Seed
  • 1 tbsp, leaves Tarragon fresh, minced
  • 2 tbsp, ground Pepper Black ,fresh ground
  • 4 clove Garlic, raw , minced
  • 24 Ounces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, Uncooked, all averages , skinless, halved
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil


  1. Combine the lemon juice, mustard seeds, tarragon, garlic, pepper, and oil in a small mixing bowl. Stir well.
  2. Place chicken in a baking dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. (or place in ziplock bag)
  3. Grill chicken over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, basting with marinade.
  4. Serve hot. Makes 6 servings, 3 oz. each.
